Is an innovative and economic method of establishing vegetation in areas which cannot be readily serviced by conventional methods, such as steep slopes or inaccessible areas of topsoil, raw subsoil or derelict land areas by means of spraying mulch containing mixtures of grasses, wildflowers, shrub and tree seeds, fertilizer, trace elements and sticking agents. As a means of soil stabilisation and erosion control on the most awkward sites it offers a highly effective and cost efficient solution.

Landscape restoration

The Battle of the Boyne visitor centre at Old Bridge estate Co Meath is a large scale restoration project undertaken by the OPW. The site has great political and cultural significance being the site of the battle of the Boyne.

Redlough were responsible for all soft landscaping work on site and worked in close partnership with Brady Shipman Martin to achieve the standards required for such a prestigious public attraction.

Urban Park

Ceannt Fort is a wonderful example of urban renewal in the heart of the old city. In its original state it had fallen into a state of disrepair but it was obvious that the site could be transformed into a vibrant space.

Through the vision of the Dublin City council the communities of Mount Brown and James Street have inherited an intimate family friendly, public space which meets the needs of both young and old.
